Springboardnz is run by Debbie Knowles and Julie Mulcahy.
Debbie Knowles has loved her work as a teacher and Coordinator of Learning Support at Carmel College. As a mum to 2 grown children Debbie knows the sorts of hassles families experience - from both sides of the school gate! Debbie is passionate about finding people the support they want to make real changes in their lives.
Debbie holds a B.A, Dip Tch, and is a NZ registered teacher.
She was also the ex HOD of Learning Support at Carmel College
Julie Mulcahy is a mum to 4 children - ranging from 6 years to 21 . Julie also works in secondary schools on the North Shore , as the Year 11 – 13 funded Resource Teacher who works with students with Learning or Behaviour difficulties. Julie knows we all need to be choosing our own path - and that sometimes we need a helping hand to change direction.
Julie holds a E Ed, Dip Tch., and is a NZ registered teacher. She is a Year 11 – 13 Resource Teacher for students with Learning & Behaviour problems
Springboardnz is a referral company. Our clients come to us generally with learning & behaviour problems. Together we prioritise the referral concerns and put support in place that matches what clients are comfortable with and what works with their lifestyle / budget.
There are so many providers available but it is matching the client with the right service / person for them and helping them take those first steps to make that contact that is so important.
We are speaking in Auckland at “Parents Inc “ on the 27th Aug on secondary schooling and again at the "Grandparents raising Grandchildren” conference. This is mainly around our book which was published last year “What You Need To Know Before You Start Secondary School.”
